A week later, Stuart’s mother calls frantically and urges him to turn on the television. On the news, the elderly couple — Harold and Margaret — are being interviewed, calling him their “Superman” and asking for help finding him. They share photos and a video they took of him changing the tire, and Stuart is stunned to see himself on-screen. His mother insists he contact them.
That night, Stuart calls. The couple is overjoyed and invites him and Emma to dinner so they can properly thank him. When they arrive, they are greeted warmly — and Stuart meets their granddaughter, Angie, a journalist his age. She is kind, warm, and instantly comfortable with Emma, who quickly bonds with her.
