Clove Flaxseed Rose Water Toner: Better Than Botox

Step 1: Infuse the cloves

  • Simmer cloves in 120 ml of water for 5 minutes.

  • Cover and steep another 10 minutes to extract maximum benefits.

Step 2: Make the flaxseed gel

  • Boil flaxseeds in 150 ml water for 6–8 minutes, stirring until thickened.

  • Strain through a fine sieve or cheesecloth and discard seeds.

Step 3: Combine the bases

  • Strain clove infusion and let both liquids cool to room temperature.

  • Whisk together 2 tbsp flax gel, 100 ml rose water, and 50 ml clove infusion.

Step 4: Fortify with actives

  • Stir in cooled green tea and aloe gel.

  • Add vitamin E oil and optional essential oils; whisk to emulsify.

Step 5: Bottle and store

  • Transfer to a dark glass spray bottle, label, and date.

  • Refrigerate and use within 10 days (or 3 weeks with ½ tsp glycerin).

  • Patch test before first use.


How to Use

  • Shake gently before each use.

  • After cleansing, mist 2–3 pumps over face and neck, avoiding eyes.

  • Pat lightly until absorbed, then follow with serum or moisturizer.

  • Frequency: Morning and night for normal/oily skin, once daily for very dry skin.

Tip: Carry a travel-size bottle for a midday antioxidant boost, especially after sun exposure.
