The theater community is grieving the tragic loss of former Broadway performer Imani Dia Smith, whose death has shaken both the arts world and the public. Smith, 25, was found unresponsive at a residence in Edison, New Jersey, in an incident that authorities say occurred on Sunday. Emergency responders were called to the home and transported Smith to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
